In Context is an environmental portrait series documenting people in the spaces they call home. Made across homes and neighborhoods in Los Angeles, the work considers how place, environment, and the spaces we inhabit shape identity, comfort, and our sense of belonging. Through portraiture, the series looks for the ways a person’s surroundings can reveal something about who they are, how they live, and the communities of which they are a part.
